Biography: BSc, DDSDr. Akbar Nathu completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology at McGill University in 1989, and subsequently went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 1994.Upon returning to Calgary, he had established two criteria in his pursuit of the ideal dental practice environment: firstly, a modern practice dedicated to providing the utmost quality of dental care; and secondly, a practice that saw value in building long term relationships with its patients. His search ultimately led him to the Memorial Square Dental Clinic.Since joining the Team in 1996, and subsequently becoming the owner, Dr. Nathu has completed several hundreds of hours in professional development ranging from Endodontics, Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, Implantology and Invisalign Orthodontics. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, the Alberta Dental Association and College, and the Calgary and District Dental Society.

Biography: BSc, DDSDr. I-ju Chuah received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta in 1992. She subsequently completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital and practiced briefly in Edmonton, before joining the Memorial Square Dental team in 1993.Dr. Chuah is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and Alberta Dental Association. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and takes tremendous pride working with people to improve their dental health.

Biography: BDS, DDSDr. Preety Bachan was born and raised in Chandigarh, India, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1996. After owning her own practice for several years, Dr. Bachan moved to Canada in 2002 and subsequently received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 2007. Whether it’s through providing basic dental care or complete rehabilitation, Dr. Bachan firmly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to achieve exceptional dental health. She enjoys helping patients of all ages but has a passion for treating children and helping them learn the benefits of good oral health care at an early age.An advocate of constant learning, Dr. Bachan is continuously looking for ways to increase her knowledge of dentistry. To this end, she frequently attends continuing education courses and seminars on various aspects of dentistry including Implantology and Orthodontics; in addition, for those patients who are particularly anxious, Dr. Bachan is licensed in Sedation Dentistry. She is an active member of the Alberta Dental Association and College and the Canadian Dental Association.

Biography: CD, BSc, DDS Dr. Neville C. Headley graduated from the University of Alberta in 1982 and served with the Canadian Forces Dental Services before returning to Calgary in 1998.Dr. Headley enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but, in particular, brings his advanced training in Oral Surgery to Memorial Square Dental Clinic. He is a volunteer clinician at the Calgary Urban Project Society (CUPS) Dental Clinic, and an active member of the Calgary District Dental Society, the Alberta Dental Association and College, and the Canadian Dental Association. Dr. Headley has spoken across Canada on a variety of dentistry topics.
Dr Mohammed Soliman

Biography: BDS, DOS, DDS Dr. Mohamed Soliman grew up in Alexandria, Egypt and has been in the field of dentistry for over 12 years. Dr. Soliman first obtained his dental degree in Egypt and, once again, when he moved to Canada, graduating from the University of Toronto with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the top of his class. Although he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Soliman has a passion for, and is highly experienced in, Oral Surgery including the placement of Dental Implants. Dr. Soliman takes pride in getting to know all his patients and making them comfortable – to this end, he is happy to offer his anxious patients the option of either Intravenous or Oral Sedation.Dr. Soliman is an active member of the Alberta Dental Association and College and the Canadian Dental Association.
