Biography: Dr. Ashar has been trained from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi; which is the best hospital in whole of Asia. After his post-graduation, he did a fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from world renowned L. V. Prasad Eye Institute. He was then the main cornea consultant at the new tertiary care center of L V Prasad Eye Institute, Vijayawada. He is amongst the Youngest Indian Surgeon to be invited at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He holds to his credits numerous awards, publications in International Journals and Conferences.He has performed numerous cataract surgeries including complex surgeries and cataract surgeries in children. He is an excellent cornea surgeon and has performed corneal transplants that include transplants even in babies as young as 1 month old. He has also performed many refractive surgeries such as LASIK, PRK and ICL.
