Since our inception, we have been leaders in the North of Mexico in laparoscopic bariatric procedures, having treated more than 4,000 patients with these techniques.

More than 15 years ago, due to the need of treating the obesity epidemic and offering a convincing treatment for weight loss, Dr. Daniel Campos Torres, pioneer in laparoscopic surgery in the country and after being trained in different national and international centers, introduced the practice of Bariatric Surgery in the region.

Biography: Board Certified Bariatric SurgeonPioneer in laparoscopy and bariatric surgery in the region, and with a background of more than 30 years of experience in general surgery, Dr. Campos has always focused on the continuous learning and improvement of these techniques in order to give patients the best medical care. Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies and training courses in renowned national and international centers such as the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Md., Methodist Hospital in Houston, Tx. and Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Fl. Dr. Campos has been practicing bariatric surgery procedures such as gastric banding, gastric sleeve and gastric bypass for over 15 years. Currently, he is Director and Chief Surgeon at Obesity Care Group, one of the main obesity centers in the north of Mexico that has changed the lives of thousands of patients. He is also in charge of the Surgery Division at Hospital Angeles Torreón, part of Mexico's largest private hospital network.
