About Palladium Dental
The philosophy of the team at this dental clinic located at Merivale Road in Ottawa is to give patients complete dental and oral care in a friendly and relaxing environment. All treatment options are discussed with patients by the team and the best available treatments are performed to achieve the individual goals of patients. Services at the clinic include extensive first visit examinations, scheduling regular checkups, hygiene care, laser based gum treatments, CEREC same day restorations, adult orthodontics using Invisalign clear aligners, cosmetic smile makeovers and fitting dentures or surgically placing implants to replace missing teeth.

Biography: Dr. Marko graduated in 1980 from Western University not too far from her childhood home in Windsor Ontario. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) making the Dean’s honor list. At her graduation, she was presented with several prestigious awards including the American Association of Endodontics Award, the Dr. George Bedrosian Award in Restorative Dentistry and the Mosby Book Award in Occlusion. In 1980, she chose Ottawa to start her career as an associate and within a year purchased the practice. In 1990, Dr Marko moved her practice to the present location at 1580 Merivale Road. Dr. Marko is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association, The Ottawa Dental Society, The Ottawa Dental Specialists Study Group and The Ottawa Women Dentist Study Club. Dr Marko strives to keep her practice and staff abreast of the latest in dental technology and techniques. She is passionate about providing you with the best care in a friendly environment.

Biography: Dr. Halim has been practicing general dentistry since 1999 and is a graduate of the Dental School at the University of Alberta. Dr. Halim is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), the Ontario Dental Association (ODA), the Ottawa Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Dr. Halim has a strong desire to offer his patients the latest dentistry has to offer. He is continually upgrading his extensive knowledge base with continuing education courses in a variety of areas. His training in CAD-CAM technology allows him to provide most patients with single-visit crowns. His practice is also expanding in the field of implantology, as more and more people in the community are looking to implant treatment to replace missing teeth. His gentle approach to his family practice provides each patient with individual care, creating as comfortable an experience as possible. Outside the office Shadi enjoys spending time with his wife Nevine and their young son Christopher. He is a dedicated member of his church choir and the community.
