Biography: I studied at the University of Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa Faculty of Medicine). After graduating from the faculty, I received the General Surgery Specialization training at the same institution. I was assigned to Bayburt for compulsory service. After a short service, I won the Gastroenterology Surgery Minor Specialization training at Kartal Koşuyolu Yüksek İhtisas Training and Research Hospital. During the assistantship process, I gained the qualification of the Turkish Surgery Association and was awarded the Nevin Baykent Health and Education Foundation Scholarship. In this way, I went to Mayo Clinic College of Medicine Rochester, Minnesota, USA and conducted studies and observations in both liver, biliary tract and pancreatic surgery (3 months) and Obesity Surgery Center (6 months). When I returned to my country, I successfully completed the minor specialization exam and went to Bakırköy Dr. I was appointed to the General Surgery Clinic of Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Gastroenterology Surgery Specialist. I have performed many pancreatic, obesity and stomach cancer surgeries in this clinic, and over time I became the responsible specialist in liver, biliary tract and pancreatic surgery. I was accepted as a training unit by the Turkish HPB association. In this process, I also performed many endoscopic procedures due to my expertise. Due to my interest in pancreatic cancer, diabetes and obesity, I have done my job for 3 years to examine cells, deal with cells and transplant cells, as well as do my doctorate in Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology and qualified in the exam I entered. After receiving my associate professorship at the same institution, I was appointed as Gastroenterology Surgery Clinical Program Director (Clinical Chief) upon an invitation to establish the Gastroenterology Surgery Minor Clinic of Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital. I had the honor of doing the first pancreatic cancer surgery, the first emergency case, the first bariatric surgery of the hospital. Operations are still continuing in a regular clinic and an average of 70 elective cases per month have been reached. In this process, I was accepted to the Board of Specialization in Medicine (TUKMOS), Gastroenterology Surgery Commission Member. I was born in Sivas in 1980, I am married and I have a child.
