Biography: After attending the University of Saskatchewan he obtained a DDS degree in 1972 from the University of Alberta. He practiced general dentistry in Swift Current and Wetaskiwin, Alberta from 1972 - 1978. Post-graduate training in periodontics was obtained at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand.

Biography: He practiced general dentistry for two years before heading to the East Coast. In 2014 where he completed a periodontal residency program at the University of Boston. After teaching at his alma mater he joined the PerioPartners team late in 2014.
