About Physio4Life

Chartered physiotherapy treatments, fitness and training services are provided at this London clinic for patients with painful conditions and for all level of sports persons and athletes. Facilities at the clinic include 8 large physio treatment rooms, a gymnasium and a Pilates studio. Treatments provided at the clinic include physiotherapy, clinical Pilates, Pilates, sports injury rehabilitation, biomechanical analysis, treatments and fitting customized orthotic insoles, osteopathy, paediatric osteopathy, massage therapy, scarwork, manual lymphatic drainage, postural advice, exercise prescriptions, special treatments for treating back pain, personal training and ergonomic assessment and prevention of workplace injuries.

Biography: Founder of Physio4Life Mark Saunders has a varied background of strength and conditioning influenced by his days in the Army. As a Physiotherapist in Putney he has worked for the NHS, in Professional Rugby, Army Sports Injuries and Rehab Clinics. His work in professional sport has encouraged a specialist interest in running injuries. This includes; running biomechanics, lower limb rehabilitation and the development of custom made orthotics to help prevent injury. Physio4Life uses the latest in digital technology and gait scans to help diagnose the causes of running injuries and provide treatment. Mark has supported a number of athletes including Chrissie Wellington (World Ironman Champion), Oli Wilson (Golf Pro) and professional triathletes such as Rachel Joyce and Tamsin Lewis. He has successfully looked after professional Rugby Players from Saracens, London Welsh and Chelsea Football club as well as celebrities and musicians including Take That and Snow Patrol. He actively supports the Help for Heroes Fund and has taken part in a number of rugby matches to raise funds for those badly injured whilst serving the Army overseas.

Biography: am attended the University of the West of England in Bristol and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy. Returning home to his native Isle of Wight on the south coast he began his career working in a Musculoskeletal and Sports Injuries Clinic. Since then he has worked in a variety of private clinics working with musculoskeletal and sports injuries as well as spending time at a hydrotherapy unit and completing a season with Vectis U16’s RFC. He has a keen interest in sport, having played cricket at minor county level with the Isle of Wight for a number of years, so understands the frustrations that injuries can bring. He believes in treating people with a combination of hands on manual therapy as well as utilizing exercise for longer term rehabilitation and future injury prevention. He has so far completed post graduate courses in Acupuncture and Sports Taping.

Biography: Faye graduated from her Applied Sports Science Degree from Edinburgh University and went on to study physiotherapy at MSc level in 2007 at Queen Margaret’s University. Since graduation she has gained experience within the NHS setting but has largely flourished with the private practice. A strong dance back ground in ballet, coupled with attaining her Pilates teaching qualification ensures a rounded approach to rehabilitation. Faye has also completed a diploma in acupuncture and is skilled in kinesiotaping and manual therapy. Faye is passionate for patients to achieve functionality whether it is in sports or day to day life. She has treated members of the Team GB sky diving, elite cricketers and has a particular passion for treating triathletes.
