Biography: Lorna is an experienced Physiotherapist and the owner of Physiotherapy & Wellbeing Perth. She qualified in 2004 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy and is a member of the CSP and HCPC. She spent the first part of her career working in the NHS, gaining experience in a wide range of specialties including Neurology, Oncology, Respiratory, Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Out-Patients. Alongside her NHS work, she worked for private clinics and spent 4 years working with a premiership rugby team in Edinburgh. Since 2008, Lorna has specialised in Musculoskeletal conditions, orthopaedics and sports injuries. In addition to private clinics, she has worked for IPRS, Nuffield and as the Lead Physiotherapist at BMI Fernbrae Hospital, she was responsible for running the Physiotherapy Department and the delivery of Manual Handling training to staff. Lorna has completed many post-graduate training courses, including APPI Pilates, Acupuncture, Taping and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Having passed the diploma exams, she is also a member of the Society of Musculoskeletal Medicine (previously known as the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine).
