A wide choice of alternative healthcare services are provided at this clinic located at Sittingbourne, Medway and Maidstone in Kent. All therapists are experts in their field and have wide experience in treating patients. Services are non invasive with no side effects and the goal of the team is to help patients recover and resume their normal function quickly using safe and effective remedies. Services provided by the team include osteopathy, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, exercise therapy, acupuncture, rheumatology, sports and paediatric physiotherapy counselling and psychotherapy, therapeutic massages, Pilates and treatment for nerve pain such as sciatica.
We specialise in helping recovery from and management of injuries, conditions and disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves. We also have unique acupuncture skills and training allowing us to provide fertility and pregnancy acupuncture.

Mrs Sarah Booker

Biography: A Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Rheumatology. After completing her BSc (hons) in Physiotherapy in 2004 from the University of Hertfordshire Sarah moved North to Derby. She worked in the NHS doing rotations in Paediatrics, Cardiorespiratory, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Neurology before beginning to specialise in Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Rheumatology.Complimenting her NHS service Sarah worked part time for Derby County Ladies Football Team, initially providing treatment for the academy teams working her way up to Senior Club Physio providing care for the first team as well as working with club coaches constructing injury prevention programmes for players.As well as working in the NHS Sarah volunteered in the Territorial Army for 4 years. Sarah completed her officer training and was promoted to Leuitenent in 212 Field Hospital after 1 years service and resigned following the birth of her first daughter and relocating to Kent. Sarah maintained her competency in Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy throughout this time in case of being deployed.Prior to founding Physiotherapy2fit Sarah worked as a Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Outpatients for Medway Community Healthcare. She is qualified in acupuncture and is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists , Physio First , the Acupuncture Association for Physiotherapists and The Australian Physiotherapist and Pilates InstituteSarah’s skills are diverse and as well as fertility and musculoskeletal acupuncture is able to provide Orthopaedic and Sports Physiotherapy for all areas of the body, Massage, Manual Therapy and Manipulation, Ergonomic Assessments, Rheumatological Assessments and Treatments, Pilates Assessments and 1:1 Tuition and a Specialist Paediatric Service.

Biography: Sarah is a Chartered Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal physiotherapist working with adults and children. Sarah qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2008 after completing her MSc in Physiotherapy and BSc in Sports Therapy.She completed her junior rotations at Derby Hospital NHS Foundation Trust doing rotations in Cardiorespiratory, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Paediatrics, Elderly care and Neurology before beginning to specialise in Musculoskeletal Outpatients at Kent Community Trust at Sittingbourne Memorial Hospital.Most recently to joining the Physiotherapy2Fit team Sarah was working for three years as a Senior Physiotherapist in the musculoskeletal field for both adults and paediatrics at Kings College Hospital treating Orthopaedic, Rheumatology, acute and chronic (spinal and peripheral) patients.Alongside working for the NHS Sarah has worked for non-league football clubs covering pitch side Physiotherapy and a private practice in Streatham assessing and treating individuals.Sarah is qualified to practice Acupuncture (AACP) and Pilates matwork (APPI). She has recently completed further post graduate training completing an MSc module in ‘Principles of Functional Rehabilitation’. Sarah has a specialised interest in Sports Injury prevention and rehabilitation, Orthopaedics and Paediatric Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy treating children from 0-18 years.

Mr Colin Waldock

Biography: Colin qualified from Kings College Hospital in 1985. He has over 25 years of experience of treating musculoskeletal conditions with the whole variety of physiotherapy approaches including acupuncture, obtaining the precursor to the current MSc the AACP Diploma in 1997. Keen on stretching himself he studied and obtained an Open University degree in 2004.Colin has studied and practiced a range of musculoskeletal physiotherapy approaches including manual therapies (Maitlands, Combined Movements and Grade V Manipulation); neuro-orthopaedic examination and treatment; soft tissue treatments including muscle energy techniques and clinical acupressure; exercise management of both acute and chronic soft tissue dysfunction. He is fully qualified in a range of electrotherapeutic management options, including the use of electro-acupuncture.He has experience of advanced Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal examination and is IRMER (interpretation of medical imaging – MRI and X-ray) trained with experience of referring for MRI and X-ray, and interpreting blood test results within the MSK Scope of Practice.He qualified as a supplementary prescriber in 2006 whilst also training under the auspices of a GP in injection techniques. In 2014 He was successful in obtaining Independent Prescribing status, and has successfully treated patients with both acute and chronic MSK Pain.Colin obtained his Masters Degree in Research Methods in 2009. He is a member of BMAS, and has run acupuncture training programmes for colleagues.Colin is currently an Associate Lecturer for the University of Kent’s Medway School of Pharmacy, which is the main local provider for training of non medical prescribing for Nurses, Pharmacists and AHPs, and is involved in clinical skills training.Colin is on the reviewer team for the Journal of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and Arthritis Research UK.

Biography: Claire is a Specialist Physiotherapist in Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Women’s Health. Following the Completion of her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2003 from Coventry University, Claire returned to Kent to undertake her first role as Junior Physiotherapist in the NHS. She completed her rotations in Respiratory, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, and Musculoskeletal Outpatients before specialising in Women’s Health and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.Claire worked within the NHS for 5 years before transferring across to the Private Sector where she has now worked for 6 years. She has completed additional courses in the Assessment and Treatment of Women’s Health conditions, the unique role of Women’s Health Physiotherapists in Antenatal Care and a Pelvic Girdle Pain Workshop. She has also more recently undertaken her Acupuncture training with The AACP (The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapist).Claire is a member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and The Health and Care Professions Council.

Biography: Sarah is a Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist that qualified in physiotherapy in 2007 at Leeds Metropolitan University. She started work as a Junior in the NHS in Yorkshire and Kent with rotations mainly focusing on musculoskeletal outpatients.In 2009 she qualified in Pilates matwork with the APPI (Australian Pilates and Physiotherapy Institute) and began working as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist in London.At the end of 2009 she moved to New Zealand where she qualified for registration under the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.In New Zealand she worked in the private sector, working in cardio respiratory, surgical, orthopaedics and outpatient respiratory.In 2011 she returned to the UK and worked in musculoskeletal outpatients as a senior physiotherapist in the NHS in Kent and London.In 2011 she also qualified in acupuncture with the British medical acupuncture society.Throughout her career Sarah has carried out additional training in the Mulligan technique, the treatment of whiplash associated disorder and other musculoskeletal related training.

Biography: (SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST AND TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR)Emma is an experienced Physiotherapy Technical Instructor. She has worked her way up from a Physiotherapy Assistant over the last 10 years at Medway NHS Trusts. She has a wide variety of experience to draw on and her main areas of expertise are Rehabilitation for Long Term conditions (such as Fibromyalgia, Inflammatory Arthropathies and osteoarthritis) and post operative rehabilitation (including Total Knee Replacement, Total Hip Replacements, Shoulder Surgery and Wrists). Emma has had additional training with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute, completing her Matwork Levels 1 and 2, Adapted Tai Chi for Rehabilitation course, as well as completing her Foundation degree in Health and Care with a special interest in Rehabilitation. She is the most recent addition to the Physiotherapy2Fit team and as well as providing advanced rehabilitation for our patients is currently completing her Sports Massage Diploma from the University of Westminster.

Mr Paul Chambers

Biography: Paul graduated from Salford University in 2000 with an honours degree in Podiatric medicine. After qualifying Paul moved south and joined Medways podiatry team where he went on to spend the next ten years honing his skills and gaining a broad base of experience in all aspects of lower limb and foot pathologies.Paul then moved to eastern coastal Kent NHS team to take a lead role in minor surgery anaesthetics and dermatology where he is responsible for training and ensuring standards and practices are kept to the highest levels. 6 years ago Paul started a private practice in sittingbourne which is now a thriving clinic treating all types of patients, working evenings and weekends. He specialises in minor ops and diagnosing mechanical issues with the foot and lower limb, orthotics and gait analysis to cure people’s pain. Paul is a keen squash and rugby player and also volunteers his medical expertise to his local clubs. Paul is a registered provider for most private health providers and is a member of the Bupa network.

Biography: Jon is a registered member of the Society of Sports Therapists. He qualified from coventry university graduating in 2016. He was fortunate to gain experience working with various University sports teams such as swimming, rugby union, football and hockey as a sports therapist and first aider over the course of his undergraduate degree. He also worked in the University clinic for one year treating members of the public. Jonathon has further qualifications in sports massage and hopes to complete a physiotherapy MSc sometime in the future.Jon is a keen swimmer himself and has competed for many years for Sittingbourne and Milton Swimming Club. This allows him to understand the frustration you have as a sports person when you’re unable to return to sport as quickly as possible. His experience allows him to use a range of treatments to aid you back to sport and your optimum fitness as quickly as possible.
