Hermes Clinics is a medical travel clinic based in Izmir, Turkey. Our founders include doctors who have a significant amount of experience in their fields. We operate in JCI-certified hospitals and work with surgeons who have more than 10 years of experience to give you the best available care.

Biography: He was born in Malatya, Turkey in 1979 and completed his medical education at Inonu University, Faculty of Medicine. Between 2004-2007 he worked as a general practitioner and then he started his residency in the department of general surgery at Ege University, Faculty of Medicine in 2007.He completed his training in general surgery department, soon afterwards he started to work in the state research hospital for 2 years as a general surgeon. In 2015 he became an assistant professor and 2 years later, he got a title of associate professor. In 2018 he worked at Turkish Republic Istanbul Yeniyuzyil University Gaziosmanpasa Hospital as an associate professor doctor in general surgery department and he continued to work at Izmir Baskent University Zubeyde Hanim Hospital between June,2019 - August,2020.He specialized in laparoscopic general surgery operations and also performs laparoscopic hernia treatments, surgical spleen diseases, goiter, parathyroid, laparoscopic reflux surgery, oncological surgeries and other endocrinological surgical diseases.In addition he published international articles (SCI, SSCI, Arts and Humanities ) in England, Japan and many parts of Europe.

Biography: Dr Metin is a general surgery specialist. During his education, he worked with Mehmet Görgün, the doctor who performed the first laparoscopic Roux-en-y gastric bypass operation in Turkey. In May 2012, Dr Metin carried out his first obesity surgery operation.
