About Private Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital
In 1997 Lokman Hekim Esnaf Hospital, which is located in Fethiye on the Mediterranean Coast of South West Turkey, began as a small Polyclinic created as a partnership between the Chamber of Artists and Artisans, the Chamber of Drivers and Automobiles and Lokman Hekim Inc. We have continued to provide services from our new premises since 2012.
On an area of 9000m2 our complex provides international service with highly trained and experienced staff combined with advanced medical technology. We offer a wide range of treatments from surgery to rehabilitation, from dermatology to psychiatry. Within the hospital there are 50 Consultants offering treatments within 22 areas of medicine. We have 6 beds in our general intensive care unit, 4 beds in our coronary intensive care unit, 5 beds in our neonatal intensive care unit and 93 patient beds giving a total bed capacity of 108.
Besides our highly trained Consultants we have roughly 420 front line nurses and medical staff. You will find patients from across Turkey and abroad who come for diagnosis and treatment. The staff of the Foreign Patient Department helps both inpatients and outpatients in any way needed including translating for doctors and nurses, especially at twice-daily ward rounds, and liaising with foreign insurance companies wherever policies allow a direct claim from the hospital. The staff of the department is provided by the hospital expressly to assist any non-Turkish patients whether they are on holiday or living locally. English, Russian, German, French, Dutch and Romanian are spoken. The department provides a full team and a 24 hour service.
Due to the architectural structure of our building, commitment to patient care and out continued performance we were accredited with the international TUVCERT ISO certificate.
Our specialist surgeons perform a full range of standard surgeries and diagnostics including endoscopy, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and bariatric (obesity) surgery. Our Bariatric clinic combines several different areas of medicine such as Dietician and Psychiatry. Patients can come directly to our Diet Polyclinic or can be referred by other branches. Our Specialist will establish your nutritional history, evaluate lab results, perform anthropometric measurements and a body analysis (measuring a patient’s body fat, fluid, muscle etc.) A personalized nutrition program is prepared and followed up with the patients. In our policlinic we provide nutritional support for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases and malnutrition for all ages from infants until adulthood.
Our esteemed Plastic Surgeon is not just successful with his cosmetic patients; reconstructive surgery is also a large part of his duties. We provide even the most basic of procedures such as injections and other non invasive cosmetic techniques, all the way up to larger plastic surgeries, tissue transplants and microsurgery.

Biography: He was born in 1977 in Denizli. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli. He graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2001 and completed his specialty training in the Department of General Surgery at Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2008 to become a General Surgery Specialist. He completed his training in endoscopy at Gazi University, Kafkas University and Ege University General Surgery Endoscopy Centers and obtained his certificate and started performing lower and upper gastrointestinal interventions. From 2011, he started to deal with obesity with numerous intragastric balloon applications. Between 2008 and 2009 he worked as a General Surgeon and Head Doctor at Kağızman State Hospital and between 2010 and 2013 he continued same positions in private hospitals. Between July 2013 and February 2014, he increased his experience by working as a fellowship in the team of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çoker and Prof. Dr. Selman Sökmen.Between January 2024 and June 2024, he worked at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine Hospital Obesity Centre. In 2024, it was entitled to receive the Ministry of Health-approved obesity qualification certificate. During the same period, he worked as a specialist doctor in Prof. Dr. Oktay Banlı's team. He has many articles and studies published in Turkey and abroad. Since 2024 July, he started to work as a General Surgery Specialist at Private Lokman Hekim Hospital. He is married and has two children, one girl and one boy.

Biography: She was born in 1975 in Istanbul and completed her primary school education in Niğde and secondary and high school education in Bolu. She graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 1999. She worked as a doctor in the Turkish Armed Forces but she resigned and started her specialty training in the Plastic Surgery clinic in İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital in 2006. She completed her specialization in 2012. Between 2012-2016 she worked as a Plastic Surgery Specialist at Hatay Public Hospital . In 2016, she opened her own private clinic. During his practice as a general practitioner, he gained experience in diabetes by working in Izmir and Denizli branches of the Turkish Diabetes Association for 4 years. In addition to being a health manager in the public sector, he held managerial positions in various citizens’ associations and non-governmental organizations. He completed his General Surgery specialization training at Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine. He is highly experienced on the field of advanced laparoscopic surgeries (obesity surgery and metabolic surgery, key holes inguinal and gastric hernia operations, oncological surgery; key holes and open colon, stomach and other intra-abdominal tumor surgeries), minimally invasive endocrine surgery, complicated biliary tract surgeries, colonoscopy and gastroscopy. He worked for 2 years as a general practitioner in Diyarbakır. Between 2000 and 2005, he completed his specialty training as an assistant at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital.
