Biography: Prof. Dr. Fahri Erdogan started his medical career at Istanbul University’s Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty in 1978 and in 1991 he started serving the same university as an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist.He focused his studies on surgical treatments of knee and hip, and gained surgical experience by working in various hospitals and universities with good reputations including;Cornell University Hospital of Special Surgery, New York, USANihon University, Tokyo, Japan Hannover Medical School, Hannnover, Germany Bradford Royal Infirmary, Bradford, EnglandIn 1998 he became Associate Professor and in 2006 he earned the title Professor in one of Turkey’s best medical faculties, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty on Istanbul University. He focused his career on knee and hip replacement surgeries and in years he became an expert on orthopedic diseases such as joint dislocations, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis etc. Currently, he leads an orthopedics clinic in Istanbul and continues his international medical work as an instructor and consultant surgeon for firms such as Zimmer Biomed and Smith & Nephew.
