Dr Alfonso Rao

Biography: Dr Alfonso Rao was born in Italy and graduated with Distinction from the University of Chieti . He worked as an oral surgeon at hospitals in Pescara, Caserta and Napoli until 2009 when he started working in England and since then worked in several clinics between Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham.Dr Rao has decided that Bristol is his future, and we are delighted to announce that he is the new owner of Queen Square Dental Clinic. Dr Rao strongly believes in 21st century dentistry and technology. He is very keen on continued education and has just completed a 3 year course in Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute of London.

Dr Mark Gillis

Biography: Graduated from the University of Bristol in 1999. Following this he trained as a senior house officer on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal United Hospital in bath for three years developing his surgical skills, including the removal of wisdom teeth and the treatment of anxious patients using intravenous sedation. During this time Mark achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mark has provided patients with the option of dental treatment using sedation since 1999 and is a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry.

Biography: Dr Richard Field graduated with Honours from the University of Glasgow and went on to complete a post-graduate qualification in Primary Care Dentistry, as well as many further courses on Cosmetic & Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Richard has a keen interest in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry including composite bonding, anterior alignment orthodontics and white spot removal using Icon resin infiltration.GDC No 209886
Dr Massimo Giovarruscio

Biography: Dr Massimo Giovarruscio has vast experience in aesthetic dentistry, endodontics and restorative dentistry. He is a highly skilled professional with more than 18 years of dental experience under his belt. He has a reputation within the dental profession as an excellent endodontist, clinician and postgraduate lecturer. As well as being a GDC accredited specialist in endodontics, Massimo currently teaches endodontics at King’s College London Dental Institute, imparting his knowledge onto both undergraduate and postgraduate students.Massimo specialises in the restoration of endodontically treated teeth as well as endodontic treatment itself. He uses the operating microscope to carry out his work and is regarded as an opinion leader in the field of endodontics. He lectures globally and has had many articles published in international journals. Massimo has written a number of endodontic manuals and chapters. Biography: Frederico Ferreira LMD has graduated from Porto, Portugal, in 2005. Before coming to England, Frederico held a post at the University as a clinical assistant, working in both a private hospital and a private practice. Frederico has worked as a Clinical Support Manager for one of the largest Dental Corporates within the UK, where he has helped many other clinicians.Currently Frederico works at Queen Square Dental Clinic as a dentist with a keen interest in Endodontics and Microscope Dentistry. He is also working towards gaining his MSc in Endodontics at the prestigious King’s College London. Frederico is also a Key Opinion Leader, for the award winning German microscope brand CJOPTIK (for the UK). Frederico is a member of the British Endodontic Society (BES), the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), the British Academy of Microscope Dentistry (BAMD) and the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry (AMED).GDC No 117443
Mr Dominic Sinson

Biography: Dr Dominic Sinson graduated from Cardiff University in 2010. Dominic has worked in a variety of settings both in hospitals and practices. In 2014 he was awarded a place on the specialist training pathway in Periodontics with Kings College London at Guys Hospital, which he completed in September 2018 and awarded a Distinction in Master of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) alongside a Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Periodontology. Dominic is registered on the Specialist List for Periodontists treating his patients as a specialist alongside his interest in Dental Implants.Patients appreciate Dominic’s calm reassuring manner and the time he takes to heighten confidence by ensuring each and every step during treatment is fully explained.Dominic is a member of the British Society of Periodontics and the European Association of Osseo integration.
