Dr Maisam Fazel

Biography: Maisam Fazel is a Consultant who specializes in a wide range of Aesthetic Surgery procedures. He has a unique background in both Plastic and Breast Surgery, and is thus also actively involved in Breast Care and Reconstruction. Mr Fazel read medicine at Cambridge University (where he was awarded the University Prize in Surgery) and later trained at leading teaching hospitals in London, Paris and Milan. During his training, he was selected for a National Fellowship at the renowned Nottingham Breast & Reconstruction Unit, where he trained within the Plastic Surgery department. Subsequently, he was one of the very few surgeons to be awarded the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Cosmetic Fellowship where he gained extensive experience in a wide range of cosmetic procedures under leading Plastic Surgeons in the UK. To further his training, Mr Fazel undertook an additional cosmetic fellowship in the United States where he worked with internationally renowned Aesthetic and Plastic surgeons. On the academic front, Maisam Fazel has published widely in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and has been invited to present his work at national and international aesthetic meetings where he has won several awards.

Biography: Consultant Plastic Surgeon and has an interest in a wide range of cosmetic surgical procedures, including aesthetic facial and body surgery as well as hair transplantation. He qualified in 1979 and completed his postgraduate training in Plastic Surgery in 1988. He trained as a Specialist Registrar at the Canniesburn Unit, Glasgow and as a Breast and Microsurgery fellow at St. Andrew’s Centre Chelmsford with the world leaders in the specialty. He has worked as consultant in India, Saudi Arabia, Glasgow and Swansea before taking up a Consultant position in breast, head and neck microsurgery in Essex. He is on GMC’s Specialist Register, a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Fellow of American College of Surgeons. He is a full member of BAPRAS (British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons). He teaches at various national and international courses and workshops on breast cancer reconstruction and aesthetic surgery.

Biography: 17 years of practice and comprehensive medical training, having performed thousands of cosmetic surgeries. He is recognised as a leading specialist in the UK in various cosmetic procedures including facial aesthetic surgery, VASER liposuction and Brazilian butt lifts. Dr Joffily is a board-certified plastic surgeon and member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgeons. He graduated from one of the world’s most renowned centres for cosmetic surgery – The State University of Campinas in Brazil (Medico 1993 Universidade Estadual de Campinas). His GMC Number in the UK is 6146420. Prior to coming to the UK, Dr Joffily worked in Brazil and Italy, where he performed thousands of procedures. In addition to working in the UK, he still also performs surgeries at his clinic in Campinas where his Brazilian patients can book their treatments and procedures.
