Biography: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, St. Georges Hospital University HCPC and CSP registered and Chartered Physiotherapist ITEC Diploma Sports Massage Therapy APPI Pilates Matwork Level 1 & 2 Sports and Kinesiology taping First Aid Certificate ? From a young age I have always been a keen sportswoman. I have been involved with, and ridden horses all of my life and used to be a competitive Event rider to BE Novice level. When I was a teenager I was also selected to be part of the World Class Start and Development squad for rowing, which was a fantastic opportunity to train with some world class coaches and gain valuable knowledge about strength and conditioning. Before training to become a physiotherapist I worked as a sports massage therapist and as an equine groom alongside a professional dressage rider so have a vast understanding of not only the sport but also the stresses and strains that it can put on the body. Once qualified as a physiotherapist I worked at St Georges NHS Healthcare trust and gained a wide variety of experience in lots of different areas including: elderly rehabilitation and falls prevention, vestibular rehabilitation, neurology - both inpatient and within a rehabilitation setting, hydrotherapy and womens health. I currently work for the NHS as a specialised musculoskeltetal physiotherapist at Queen Mary's Hospital in Roehampton. In additon to this I also see clients at my home in a fantastic purpose built treatment area separate from the house.
