Biography: Dr. Boruah Believes in a Multi-Modality Treatment ApproachWith specialized training and experience, Dr. Partha Boruah is a valuable asset to Chan Chang Boruah Dentistry. He has offered orthodontic treatment since 1995, TMD therapy for over 5 years and dental sleep medicine solutions for the past several years. Dr. Boruah completed a 4-session craniofacial pain mini-residency with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP) and learned different diagnostic and treatment options for TMD and headaches. He also completed a 3-session dental sleep medicine mini-residency at Tufts University.Dr. Boruah’s extensive education started with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from Gauhati University, India. He then pursued a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (DMD) and enrolled in the International Dentist Degree Program (IDDP) at the University ofManitoba. He obtained his degree with honours and then became a general practitioner in Calgary. Dr. Boruah is a fellow with the AACP and associate member of the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO) and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM). He is a member of the IDRG and a senior instructor with the IAO. Dr. Boruah has published papers abroad and lectured on a variety of topics including orthodontics, TMD and dental sleep medicine.Dr. Boruah believes in using the latest technology when caring for his patients. His multi-modality treatment approach involves the use of spray and stretch techniques, trigger point injections, ultrasound, iontophoresis, laser treatment and splint therapy for TMD patients.

Biography: Dr. Sarwat has been practicing dentistry for more than eight years. Her areas of interest include restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Endodontics, fixed and removable Prosthodontics, veneers, dentures, bridges, root canals, crowns, periodontics and oral surgery. Her goal is to provide treatment in a comfortable, friendly and family-oriented atmosphere. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from the University Of Michigan School Of Dentistry, a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from de’Montmorency College of Dentistry in Pakistan. In her spare time, Dr. Sarwat enjoys outdoor activities with her husband.
