About Smile Dental Practice - Wisbech
Preventive dental care and the long term dental and oral health of patients is the focus of the team at this clinic located at Wisbech in Cambridgeshire. A full range of treatments are provided for patients and their families. Biography: BDS FRACDS GDC No. 63633Nikki Burrell graduated from Liverpool University in November 1988.She did a House Officer/Senior House Officer job, then worked in Perth, West Australia both in the dental hospitals.Whilst waiting to emigrate, she had a taste of NHS dentistry doing a six month maternity leave position in Birmingham. Nikki then went on to spent over seven years in Australia in private practice and also at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (treating children with special dental needs and trauma cases for the whole of West Australia) plus teaching at the University of West Australia.During that time she sat both parts of FRACDS, getting her Fellowship in Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics in 1994.Nikki returned to the UK in December 1996 and took up her current position in the long established private practice in Wisbech.Since then she has further developed her interest in cosmetic dentistry, attending numerous courses in this field.She is particularly interested in minimally invasive treatment including Invisalign®, sixmonthsmiles and Lumineers which fit well with this ethos. She has found them to be the most exciting addition to her armamentarium.Nikki is happy to accept referrals for any cosmetic cases and can offer a full range of treatments including invisible braces, no preparation veneers, bonding, crown and bridge work.Nikki is also happy to assist with paediatric/trauma cases if required and also offers Healozone and microabrasion dentistry.
