About Smile Style Dental Care
Located in the heart of Holland Park, Smile Style Dental Care is less than a five-minute walk from Holland Park Underground Station and ten minutes from Shepherd’s Bush. With our focus on customer service and patient satisfaction, Smile Style Dental Care has been delivering happy smiles and happy patients since 1950.
Our long-standing team members are a testament to the welcoming and professional environment and always on-hand to help with any query you may have. We have a detail-oriented attitude towards oral healthcare, whether it be general dentistry, Implant dentistry, periodontics, or cosmetic. We also offer a range of facial aesthetic treatments, as well as teeth-whitening, clear aligners, and Smile Makeovers.
Led by Dr Faro Zhand and Dr Aron B. Balkin, Smile Style Dental Care has years of experience to draw upon. Educated at the Royal London Dental Hospital and Glasgow University, they are both members of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Faro Zhand has post graduate diplomas in Implant dentistry and restorative dentistry from the prestigious Eastman Dental Hospital. Dr Balkin has a master’s degree in Periodontology from Guy’s Hospital, London.

Biography: Dr Faro Zhand graduated from the Royal London Dental Hospital. Since then has been creating beautiful, natural looking smiles for 18 years.Although he has worked in general dental practice since 2001, he has also continued his professional development; postgraduate study at London’s Eastman Dental Institute, specialising in implants and restorative dentistry. From 2003 he has worked at the same Kensington-based dental practice, whereupon he joined Smile Style Dental Care in 2019.Dr Zhand has a special interest in restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry, often receiving referrals from other dentists if a case is particularly demanding or unusual. A member of British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and he has extensive experience in orthodontics and complex smile makeovers, including porcelain crowns, veneers and teeth whitening.
Dr Aron Balkin

Biography: Dr. Balkin qualified in 1982 from Glasgow University. He went on to do a postgraduate certificate course at the Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, New York, and later gained a master’s degree in Periodontology from Guy’s Hospital in London. He continues to attend postgraduate courses and conferences and completed a year long course in cosmetic dentistry. His special interests include preventative techniques and the treatment of gum disease. He is a member of the , the , and the and has been the principal dentist at the practice since 1990. Married, with five children, he comments that ‘home life is never dull!
