Biography: Dr Ashraf Ali graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2004. During his government service, he was posted to the School Dental Services division of the Health Promotion Board where he gained substantial experience in pediatric dentistry. Subsequently, he also served as the chief dental officer of SingHealth Polyclinics where he was involved in treating patients, administering the dental division as well as formulating and implementing policies. Dr Ashraf left for private practice in 2007. Being passionate about delivering optimal and comprehensve dental care, he is a firm believer of constantly learning and upgrading of knowledge and skills. He regularly attends conference and courses both locally and overseas. In 2009, Dr Ashraf completed his Part I exams for the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MJDF RCS Eng). He also attended the advance live-patient programme in Aesthetic Adhesives at th Las Vegas Institute for Post Graduate Dental Studies in Las Vegas. He is aso currently pursuing the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, as well as the Certificate of Implantology with the University of Frankfurt. Dr Ashraf has special clinical interests in aesthetic crowns,inlays, adhesive fillings and veneers.

Dr Edwin Tng Chin Haw

Biography: Dr. Edwin Tng graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgeon and has more than 10 years of clinical experience in general dentistry. He has a keen interest in esthetic, Invisalign and implant dentistry. Dr Tng served in Health Promotion Board for half a year before being posted to Queenstown Polyclinic for a year. Subsequently he went to the Singapore Armed Forces for two and a half years to serve as the dental officer in-charge of Tengah Airbase followed by SAFTI MI. Dr Tng believes in continuing education and seeks to upgrade his skills and knowledge locally and overseas. He is a fellow of the International Congress Of Oral Implantologist (ICOI). He is also an alumnus of the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) of Advanced Dental Studies where he was trained in doing anterior and posterior teeth esthetics using various methods and esthetic materials under the world-renowned Dr. Ron Jackson. He has also gone through basic orthodontic training under Dr Kenneth Lew and attending various courses in Invisalign. In order to advance his understanding of how a person's bite can affect a persons posture and the various aspect of facial, neck and jaw joint pain, Dr Tng and his team went to be trained under Dr Clayton Chan of Occlusion Connections in Las Vegas to learn about bite management. Dr Tng and his team are now able to holistically manage their patients concerns and also in the dental management of facial aches, headaches, clicking and painful jaw joints and neck aches. Currently, Dr. Tng serves in the executive committee in the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore (ADSS) and is also an active member of the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore (CGDP)

Chong Ker Shin

Biography: Dr Chong Ker Shin graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2002. She was in government service from 2002 to 2006. working in the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, Alexandra Hospital and Tan Tock Seng Hospital. Dr Chong joined Atria-Pan Dental Group from 2006 to 2009 before returning to National Healthcare Group Polyclinics to head the dental division in Jurong Polyclinic till 2011. She joined SmileArts Dental Studio in end-2011. Dr Chong was awarded her Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2010. She is accredited by the Academy of Laser Dentistry in the use of dental lasers, and by the Ministry of Health in facial injections. Dr Chong's scope of work includes aesthetic dentistry, children's dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, minor oral surgery and implant dentistry. She is a member of the College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore. Dr Chong's philosophy in her clinical practice is to create greater dental awareness in patients, and to work with patients to achieve holistic and quality dental care. She takes an interest in helping patients, young and old, to manage anxiety in dental treatment. She travels overseas every year to help in dental missions, and enjoys spending her free time with her family and two children.
