Biography: Nikki Smith - Neurological Clinical LeadNikki qualified as a Physiotherapist from The University of Southampton. She has extensive experience within neurology and rehabilitation, from the hospital setting to outpatient and community rehabilitation. Nikki has particular interest, skills and training in brain injury, spinal injury and multi trauma injuries, and is passionate about helping clients reach their full physical potential. Nikki is a dynamic physiotherapist highly motivated to promote training and development and has attended many courses including: The Bobath Concept, Motor Relearning following neurological injury, neurological hydrotherapy, acupuncture, reflexology, splinting and numerous FES (functional electrical stimulation) courses and can offer FES assessment and treatment as recommended by The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence with the Odstock PACE and Bioness H200 and L300 devices.As well as Neurological Clinical Lead for South Hams Physio, Nikki works as a Case Manager for Westcountry Case Management Ltd providing clinical support for those with complex neurological injuries. Biography: Sine Rickard – AssociateSine qualified as a Physiotherapist from Glasgow Caledonian University. She has vast experience in neurology and rehabilitation with a particular interest and speciality in community rehabilitation and Parkinson’s disease. Sine has completed Saebo UK training allowing her to assess and treat neurological upper limb conditions with Saebo orthotics. As well as working for South Hams Physio Sine works part time in the NHS as a Senior Physiotherapist within the Falls Team assessing and treating patients who have complex mobility and balance problems.Member of Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN)

Biography: Sarah Macpherson – AssociateSarah qualified as a Physiotherapist from The University of Wales College of Medicine. She has a wealth of physiotherapy experience with senior specialism in neurology and rehabilitation including employment at two spinal injuries units and more latterly a weight management programme. This gives her the necessary skills and abilities to treat a variety of neurological and rehabilitation conditions. As well as working for South Hams Physio Sarah works part time in the NHS as a Senior Physiotherapist within the weight management team.
