About Surgery House Dental Practice
Surgery House was started by who built the surgery into the established family dental practice that exists today. Our practice is very much centred on family dental care and we provide general dentistry for an established base of long standing patients as well as providing care to newer patients. The practice has remained within the family when and her husband took over the running of the practice in 2010.
Our practiced ethos is based around putting patients at ease and providing high quality dentistry in a friendly and welcoming environment.
At Surgery House while our focus is on general dentistry for you and your family but we also offer specialist in-house dental care including , specialist restorative dentistry ( and , periodontal treatment and endodontics) and also treatment (braces).
We also have a 24 hour emergency service that runs 365 days a year outside of normal working hours and offer emergency visits daily during normal practice hours.

Biography: BDS Jane qualified from Newcastle in 2001 and after general practice appointments in Newcastle, Chester and London she moved to the practice as a full-time associate in 2004. She currently works 3 days a week and is the joint Partner of the practice with her husband Nick and they have two children. Jane’s clinical interests are focused on preventative family dentistry and Periodontics. Jane is also an authorised provider of Inman Aligner Orthodontic Treatment. GDC Registration Number: 79394

Biography: BDS Clive qualified from Newcastle and founded Surgery House in 1974. Clive is a general practitioner and has a specialist interest in adhesive dentistry and orthodontics. Clive has provided both fixed and removable orthodontics at the practice for many years and continues to do so including the provision of lingual braces and Damon orthodontic appliances. Biography: BDS(Hons.), MSc, MFDS RCS( Edin), FDS (Rest Dent) RCS Eng. Nick graduated with Honours in Newcastle before commencing General Professional Training in the North-East of England. After completion of house officer posts and time in general practice he completed his Membership examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and then went on to undertake hospital posts in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at University College London Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital before completing his Restorative higher specialist training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. He completed a Masters degree in Conservative dentistry with distinction in 2006 which included a randomised clinical control trial on the effects of tooth whitening agents. Nick obtained the intercollegiate specialty fellowship examination in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2008 as was appointed as a full time Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman in 2009. He is currently appointed as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital in addition to at The Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. Nick is also currently the Course Director for the Royal College of Surgeons FGDP diploma in Restorative Dentistry. Nick's clinical interests are centred around fixed and removable prosthodontics including the placement and restoration of dental implants and the oral rehabilitation of patients who have had head and neck cancer treatment. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England & Edinburgh, University College London and FGDP. Nick is married to Jane Easby and is the joint partner at Surgery House and they have two children. Nick sees specialist Restorative Dentistry referrals at Surgery House and he is recognised by the General Dental Council as a specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics & Endodontics. Nick also undertakes expert witness medico-legal consultations at Surgery House. GDC Registration Number: 79415
