About The Colchester Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic
Chartered physiotherapists with a high level of professionalism and clinical excellence treat patients at this clinic located in Colchester in North East Essex. Painful conditions and sports injuries are treated at the clinic. All physiotherapists are registered with the Health Professions Council. The physiotherapists at the clinic also treat patients at two other clinics one located in Clacton and Earls Colne in Essex. Two physiotherapists are registered acupuncturists and provide acupuncture treatments to supplement physiotherapy treatments at the clinics.

Biography: Jane Marr BSc Physiotherapy, MSc Neuromusculoskeletal Rehab.Jane Marr MCSP I qualified in 1992 from the Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy and subsequently worked at the London Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital, before doing an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation at UCL in 1997-98 entitling me to membership of the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Later I spent time treating clients at Marks and Spencer in London, St Georges Hospital, Tooting and in various private practices. Recently I have moved to Colchester and had two beautiful girls in three years away from work. I enjoy all aspects of physiotherapy, but have a particular interest in treating work related upper limb disorders, doing workstation assessments and sports injuries, having worked with Olympic level athletes in the past.

Biography: Craig is a highly specialized physiotherapist with post graduate qualifications in Acupuncture and Sports and Exercise Medicine.He has worked with Professional Rugby sides in New Zealand and recently has assisted Great Britain Table Tennis at the World Team Championships and Olympic Qualifiers in Qatar and Germany. He is a consultant for the Governments Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme and has published and presented research in the Journal of Physiotherapy and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Annual Conference. Outside of work he enjoys participating socially in triathlon and running.

Biography: I'm from Vigo, a little city in the north of Spain. I've always been a very independent and adventurous person, and as I've always had a big interest in English culture, I decided to move here in order to continue my professional career.I'm very motivated and committed to my continued professional development. After completing my physiotherapist grade in Madrid in 2007 I carried on broading my horizons doing an Orthopedic Manual Therapy Masters Degree and specialising myself in Neurology, Acupuncture and Pilates. I've had the opportunity to gain professional experience through working in different areas of physiotherapy at hospitals and private clinics. A key element of my professional practice is to offer a specialized and personalized treatment to each patient, which I always strive to do. I defend a healthy lifestyle and according to that I spend most of my free time outdoors and playing a wide variety of sports.
