Dr Peter Doyle

Biography: Dr Doyle was born and raised in Preston, and he is delighted to return ‘home’ and treat people of the city and beyond, at our fantastic clinic. Having completed his undergraduate training at the Peninsula Dental School in 2013, work placements followed in general practice and hospital departments in and around Devon.In 2016, Dr Doyle relocated back to Lancashire where he now lives with his wife and two children. Being back in the North West has allowed Dr Doyle to complete extensive post graduate training in restorative dentistry, dental implantology and cosmetic dentistry. His passion in dentistry now lies in rebuilding patient's smiles with a variety of crowns, bridges, veneers and dental implants, and he is also a certified provider of Invisalign orthodontic treatments. Says Dr Doyle: ‘It still continues to amaze me how big an impact it can be on people's quality of life to have functional, healthy teeth that give them a happy, confident smile.’Outside of work, Peter enjoys keeping fit at the local CrossFit gym, spending time with his young family and watching or partaking in motorsports.
Dr Kinnari Patel

Biography: Dr Patel joined our team in 2021, having qualified from Leeds University in 2016. She then went on to achieve further qualifications with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.Dr Patel has since worked in general practice delivering a high level of clinical care in a gentle and empathic manner. She enjoys creating beautiful smiles with minimally invasive techniques such as tooth whitening and aesthetic white fillings/ composite bonding and she is also a certified provider of Invisalign orthodontic treatments.Dr Patel regularly undertakes further professional development and is about to complete her training in advanced restorative dentistry, on a year-long post-graduate certificate in Manchester.In her spare time, you can find Kinnari in the gym, so she can enjoy lots of baking! Kinnari is newly married and loving life in her first home in Preston.
Dr Maurice Levi

Biography: Dr Levi is based here at The Waterside Dental Clinic and he is delighted to be able to offer a full and speedy service for Endodontics (soothing root-filling treatments to save teeth, as a preferred alternative to extraction) and also gentle Oral Surgery; he also accepts referrals for root-filling treatments and oral surgery, from other dentists across the whole of Lancashire.Since becoming an active member of the British Endodontic Society in 1985, Dr Levi has developed a special interest in endodontics and he now provides an endodontic service at a similar level to an endodontic specialist.Dr Levi has attended just about every endodontic course available, starting with postgraduate courses at the esteemed Eastman Dental School in London, and he has considerable experience in the field of root-fillings. In 1998 he was among the first clinicians in northern England to use a dedicated operating microscope for endodontics.In addition to this, Dr Levi has worked as an oral surgeon at Harrogate District Hospital for many years, where he gained wide experience in this field. With this in mind, he is also happy to accept referrals for oral surgery of all types including difficult extractions, retained/ broken roots and wisdom teeth. He has also placed many hundreds of dental implants.Dr Levi comments that: “It is a real pleasure and privilege to be part of such an exciting and dynamic team at The Waterside Dental Clinic. In my long career, I have rarely seen a practice which achieves the perfect balance of high-quality clinical practice alongside exceptional patient care.”Outside clinical practice, Maurice has three adult children. He relaxes with music and opera - his younger daughter being an opera singer. He has a passion for aviation and light aircraft, having held a pilot's license for over forty years. He remains current by continuing to take to the air virtually every week. Dr Doug Hammond

Biography: Doug qualified in dentistry at the University of Wales in 2000, and later in Medicine at The University College London in 2007.Doug is a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon. He is capable of managing all dental alveolar surgery (wisdom teeth, extractions, sedation of all complexity) and is a highly experienced implant surgeon. He is also a skin cancer surgeon and manages traumatic injuries. As such, Doug is very capable of managing any minor skin operations which might be required on any site of the body, including cyst removal, skin cancer and scar revision.Doug has been the first team Doctor for the England Rugby League team.Doug has an incredibly understated manner for a clinician of his experience, skills, and knowledge.Doug offers surgical extractions including wisdom teeth, removal of cysts and lesions from the oral cavity and head and neck region, placement of dental implants, and sedation at Woodlands Dental.When not in work Doug is an avid follower of sport, and enjoys keeping fit, reading, and spending time with his wife and five children.
