About Thorpe Dental Group - Woodthorpe
All aspects of dentistry are addressed at this dental group, with clinics located in Woodthorpe, Copmanthorpe and Bishopthorpe in Yorkshire. Services provided include dental examinations, services of dental hygienists, teeth whitening using take home teeth whitening trays, placing crowns, bridges and veneers to improve the appearance of the smile of patients, surgically placing dental implants to replace missing teeth and placing tooth coloured fillings for smile enhancement and to replace amalgam fillings. Nervous patients are treated under sedation at the clinic.

Biography: He is the principal dentist/owner of Thorpe Dental Group. He graduated in 2005 from University of Leeds. Since then, he has a special interest in the treatment of anxious patients and has gained extensive experience in the use of sedation. He also has a special interest in dental implantology, and is currently in the final stages of a masters degree in Dental Implantology from Warwick University.

Biography: She qualified from Leeds in 2006 with honours, also winning the prize for professionalism awarded by the GDC. Since graduating, she has achieved the MJDS qualification and has been an active member of the York branch of the British Dental Association, representing young dental practitioners. She has a special interest in conservative and restorative dentistry.
Dr Gwyneth Morris

Biography: She graduated from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in 2002. After completing her vocational training she spent three years training in hospital in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, including two years at Leeds Dental Institute. Since then Gwyneth has been working back in general dental practice, where she enjoys the variety of the vocation, providing high quality family dental care. She is also a Member of The Faculty of Dental Surgery of Royal College of Surgeons in London and is a qualified Clearstep practitioner (clear braces).
