Biography: Prof. Dr. Huseyin SinanHe entered Gülhane Military Medical Academy Military Medicine Faculty in 1990 and graduated as a Medical Lieutenant in 1996.He attended Istanbul GATA Haydarpaşa Training Hospital for General Surgery specialization training.He worked as a Visiting Scholar and Research Fellow for 1 year on "Advance Laparoscopic Surgery" at the Washington University Center for Videoendoscopic Surgery in Seattle, USA.Dr. Hüseyin Sinan was awarded the title of Associate Professor of General Surgery by succeeding in the oral exam held by the Interuniversity Board on March 17, 2014.After working as a faculty member at Ankara GATA General Surgery Department for 2 years, as of August 2017, he worked in the Metabolic Surgery Clinic in Istanbul for more than 2 years and personally participated in approximately 1500 surgeries. Assoc. Dr. Hüseyin Sinan was appointed to the professorship in December 2019.He has served as an invited speaker and session chair in 30 international publications, 25 domestic publications, book chapter authorship, book translator, over 100 posters and oral presentations presented at national and international meetings. He is married, has a child and speaks fluent English.
