Biography: DR. DT. VOLKAN EREN Dr. Dt. Volkan Eren Dr. Dt. Volkan Eren was born in 1987 in Izmir. He completed his secondary education in İzmir Karşıyaka Anatolian High School in 2005. In the same year, he started his higher education at Ege University Faculty of Dentistry. He graduated in 2010 by presenting his thesis titled "Evaluation of the Efficacy of Two Different Toothpastes in Terms of Plaque Index and Gingival Index", which he wrote in the field of Periodontology. In 2017, he successfully presented his thesis titled "Clinical Evaluation of Additional Anti-infective Approaches in the Mechanical Treatment of Peri-implant Mucositis" from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Periodontology, and received his doctorate. Dr. Eren is a member of the Turkish Society of Periodontology, the European Association of Periodontology, and the International Team for Implantology. He continues his studies in periodontal plastic surgery, implantology and treatments for peri-implant diseases at home and abroad.
