Biography: Dr. Javad Jalayer found his passion for dentistry at a young age watching his mother transform smiles and educating patients and dental students.He has a strong background in both the academic and clinical aspects of dentistry receiving his first DDS degree from Iran in 2010 and his second DDS from the University of Toronto in 2017 with awards and honours.He has a passion for keeping up with new materials and techniques in dentistry and has published some of his research in the fields of restorative dentistry and orthodontics in well-known international dental journals.Since graduating from the University of Toronto, he’s been practicing as a general dentist in different communities in Burlington, Brampton, and Toronto. He has established long-term trusting relationships with his peers and patients.“Dr. J”- as he is known by his patients, joined Waterloo Smiles Dentistry knowing that he shares the passion for preventive dentistry and patient education. He finds pride in high-level evidence-based patient care and is excited to start this new chapter of his life in beautiful Waterloo.While well experienced and open to all sorts of dental procedures including complex cases, his special interests are:-Cosmetic and restorative dentistry including crowns, veneers, and smile makeovers.-Root canal therapy &-Dental Implants.
