Biography: Mr Jagmohan Chawla MD FRCS FRCOphth is a Consultant Ophthalmic and Oculoplastic Surgeon based at Westland Medical centre, Horncurch where he undertakes  private consultations, laser procedures and minor operations. His NHS base is at Queens Hospital, Romford Essex. Mr Chawla performs private major operations and procedures at Spire Hartswood, Nuffield Health Brentwood and Spire Roding hospitals.He has Fellow ships in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Ophthalmologists London and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Mr Chawla is an Examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, LondonHe has specialised in spectacle free cataract surgery and refractive phacoemulsification with multifocal, toric multifocal intraocular lens implants. Mr Chawla offers correction of residual spectacle prescription after cataract surgery with piggyback lens implants, toric lens implants and astigmatic keratotomy for astigmatism, intraocular lens implant exchange and complex procedures like post lasik cataract surgery He has special interest and extensive experience in oculoplastic surgery.
