About Crecent Clinic
Endodontics or root canal treatments are the specialty of this clinic located in Dublin. Microscopes, ultrasonic and digital imaging is used to perform accurate endodontic treatments. Root canal treatments are performed to save the teeth of patients and to avoid extractions. Crowns or other restorations are placed after root canal treatments are complete. Endodontic re-treatments for teeth that have not healed after the first root canal treatment are also performed. In advanced cases root canal surgery is performed by making a surgical incision. Referrals are welcome from other dentists are welcome at the clinic.

Biography: Studied dentistry at University College Cork and qualified in 1978. He spent the next twenty-two years in general practice before completing a two-year full-time programme specializing in Oral and Facial Pain Management at the University of California, Los Angeles between 2000 and 2002. He also completed a full-time course in the dental management of snoring and sleep apnoea. John served two years as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Orofacial Pain at the University of Southern California, also in Los Angeles. He is a member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain.

Biography: Qualified from University College Cork with an Honors Degree in Dental Surgery in 2007. Following graduation, she then completed two years postgraduate training at Edinburgh Dental Institute as a General Professional Trainee gaining experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paediatric and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. O’ Neill was awarded Membership of the Facility of Dental Surgery by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2009. In 2011 she completed a Postgraduate Diploma, with Distinction, in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry from Trinity College Dublin.
