Biography: After completing six years of medical and surgical training at Monash University in Melbourne, he graduated with honours in surgery. He began his Plastic Surgery training in Melbourne at the Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit and overseas in New Zealand and Scotland at the Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit in Glasgow, recognised as one of the premier Plastic Surgical Units in the world. In 1987, he obtained his Fellowship (FRACS) from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the only statutory recognised body for the training of Plastic Surgeons in Australia.
