Biography: Maisam Fazel is a Consultant who specializes in a wide range of Aesthetic Surgery procedures. He has a unique background in both Plastic and Breast Surgery, and is thus also actively involved in Breast Care and Reconstruction. Mr Fazel read medicine at Cambridge University (where he was awarded the University Prize in Surgery) and later trained at leading teaching hospitals in London, Paris and Milan. During his training, he was selected for a National Fellowship at the renowned Nottingham Breast & Reconstruction Unit, where he trained within the Plastic Surgery department. Subsequently, he was one of the very few surgeons to be awarded the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons Cosmetic Fellowship where he gained extensive experience in a wide range of cosmetic procedures under leading Plastic Surgeons in the UK. To further his training, Mr Fazel undertook an additional cosmetic fellowship in the United States where he worked with internationally renowned Aesthetic and Plastic surgeons. On the academic front, Maisam Fazel has published widely in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and has been invited to present his work at national and international aesthetic meetings where he has won several awards.
