Here, he took part in the team where important surgeries such as face transplant and arm transplant were performed. During 2014-2019, he performed many microsurgery and aesthetic surgery operations. In 2017, he attended the World Microsurgery Congress in Seoul, South Korea and made oral presentations on "Travel Grant" and "Use of Anterolateral thigh flaps in children". In 2017, at the University of Leuven, Belgium, Plastic and Reconstructive Clinic, Prof. Under the guidance of J.J.Vranckx, he took part in many operations related to breast reconstruction and aesthetic breast surgery for 3 months. After his specialization education, he started to work as a plastic surgery specialist at Ardahan State Hospital. He took part in more than 1000 reconstructive and aesthetic surgery operations here.

After her compulsory service duty, he worked in various aesthetic clinics in Istanbul. In 2022, he passed the written and oral exams of the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Belgium and won the title of EBOPRAS Fellow.

Op.Dr. Hasan Tuna Türkmen is a member of Turkish Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association and International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association.He is also member of American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Turkish Ministry of Health has granted Dr Tuna Turkmen’s clinic as an International Health Tourism Center.
