Biography: Pete started the practice in 1983, establishing a practice philosophy of preventing dental disease. He has developed special interests in cosmetic dentistry and the restoration of dental implants, and trained in these subjects in Florida, Italy and New York University Rosenthal Institute. Past Chairman of the Bucks Dental Committee, the advisory body to the health authority. He has a real passion for his job and believes in giving his clients’s informed choices and options for their care, rather than dictating treatment to them. Pete has always lived in Chesham and attended Dr Challoners. He is a Watford FC season ticket holder and greatly enjoys travelling.

Biography: After 20 years at York House she continues to be extremely popular with her clients and is a positive female force in out team. Sarah is a dentist who understands the contrasting needs of her clients, treats them as individuals and builds long term relationships. Sarah attends regular postgraduate courses and has special interest in cosmetic crowns and veneers. Many of her clients have gained confidence in their smiles and Sarah tries to make a visit to the dentist as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Clients and staff always find her friendly and approachable. Sarah enjoys tennis and keep fit.

Biography: Since qualifying at Birmingham I have gone on to work in practices in Winnersh and York. I have a keen interest in all aspects of dentistry, but particularly root fillings to cure dental tooth infection. In my spare time I enjoy Yoga and Pilates

Dr Alison Harley

Biography: Alison prevents and treats gum disease which loosens teeth in later life. Alison is a visiting specialist at York House and also works at Kings College, London where she teaches postgraduate and undergraduate students. We value Alison’s attachment to Kings as she brings an academic input to our practice. This benefits our clients as she brings the influence of the latest research and treatments. For instance she uses cosmetic gum techniques to improve the look of the gums. Receded gums can look poor and Alison can help correct some of these cosmetic problems. Her manner and temperament suit our practice. She is considered, gentle, informative and confident. Alison is a keen golfer and a member of Berkhamsted Golf Club.

Dr Guy McLellan

Biography: With his skill and knowledge Guy has greatly improved client choices at York House. An implantologist, Guy has helped our clients avoid dentures by restoring their teeth’s function and improving their appearance. He is a doubly qualified Doctor and Dentist and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Currently he holds a position as a member of the Cranio Facial Team at Westminster Hospital where he treats severe head injury or disease. Pete Churchill says 'I chose Guy to work as our specialist because of his caring nature, easy rapport with clients and because of his vast experience in placing implants.' He is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology, the European Association of Osseointegration and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is a Mentor for Nobel Biocare. Guy keeps super fit by competing in triathalons.

Biography: Sheryl has worked at York House for 23 years and remains committed to making clients feel comfortable at every stage of their treatment. She gained her BTEC National Certificate in Practice Management in 2003, one of the first in the country to do so. She is a positive, sensitive influence on the practice, keeping us strictly compliant with current regulations, thereby improving the safety and effectiveness of our care. Sheryll enjoys retail therapy and dog walking.

Biography: 23 years at York House has not dimmed Sandra's enthusiasm for meeting client's needs. Originally a qualified dental assistant, Sandra is senior receptionist and has additional responsibilities as purchasing manager and technical liaison on all dental equipment. Sandra says 'I still love my job. At our practice we all have an input into practice development which gives us a real sense of involvement and commitment

Biography: A dentist at York House for over 20 years, Andy has a broad interest in general dental practice. Andy believes strongly in respecting our client’s views and planning slowly to improve their health. He informs clients of any long term problems that may occur with their teeth well in advance. This means we can plan ahead to prevent dental disease. When treatment is necessary clients will have time to plan it conveniently and within their budget. His interests are gardening and the great outdoors. Currently undertaking a university maths course, for fun! Andy has always lived in the area and attended Chesham High School.
